Carved and painted hummingbird made by Joseph Moyer, Reading PA. Moyer is well-documented in the book, Just For Nice. He carved and painted identifiable birds and lived from 1883 to 1962. This ruby-throated hummingbird is all original; his tail has been re-glued and there is wear on the very tip of the beak. Only 2 1/2 inches high.
