A memorial painting for a dog, larger than life in his domain. Strong natural colors with no restoration. The sight size is 21 by 14, with the frame adding 2 1/2 inches all around. The frame is original and unusual with only one small flake in the top left corner. No repair to the silvered and gilded surface. The label on the frame is from Butte, Montana. Oil on canvas and signed, "P Comba" on the lower left. (Shading at the top of the frame is from my irregular lighting.)
